Procurement Manager

Salary: £50,000 Plus Package

Location: South London

Region: London

A Procurement Manager is required to work for a Main Contractor in South London. This Contractor is aiming to have a profit turnover of over £1.5b by 2020, with project values up to £30m. They have an impressive track record with a low staff turnover and specialize in new build houses and apartments.

This role involves operational, strategic, and supply chain responsibilities for the contractor's procurement plan and supply chain strategy & plan.

Responsibilities
  • Management of Procurement Team
  • Oversee current company agreements
  • Working with the Estimating, Design, Commercial, and Operational teams to ensure projects are priced, specified, and delivered according to company agreements
  • Strategic Support for Work Winning and Secured Projects
  • Ensure that HSE&Q standards, operating processes, company policies, and all legislative requirements are understood and used at all times
  • Learn and understand the company's way of working, ensuring processes are complied with and adopted into daily disciplines
  • Maintain relevant databases as required
  • Undertake the archiving of completed documents as required
