Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading Higher Education organisation, who are currently looking to recruit two Procurement Managers to join their fast-paced function. The University has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, sitting across a number of key spend areas.

As such, the Head of Procurement is looking to appoint:

• A Procurement Manager to manage the Estates and FM category
• A Procurement Manager to manage the Generalist Professional Services categories

The function is currently well grounded within the business and has a lot of projects ready to go from day one.

This role would suit an experienced Category / Senior Buyer / Procurement Officer looking to take a step up, or a Procurement / Category Manager seeking a new challenge!

Role & Responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier/contract management
• Develop existing relationships with stakeholders across the University, including department heads
• Create tender and procurement specifications, including frameworks
• Create and implement strategic category plans across the desired categories

Experience & Requirements

• Proven track record in Indirect categories, especially Estates, FM, and Professional Services, is highly beneficial
• End-to-end procurement experience is essential
• Experience with public procurement processes (PCR, Procurement Act, OJEU, UCR, etc.)
• CIPS qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
