Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge, where you will be instrumental in setting up and managing contracts as the Legal Advisor to the Procurement team?
If you have a good knowledge of contract law, then you could be the person we are looking for.
In this role, you will be responsible for drafting the terms and conditions for procurement contracts and liaising with various departments within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary to ensure legal requirements for both new and existing contracts are satisfied. You will manage legal negotiations with suppliers, including disputes, to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services, and advise on procurement legislation and compliance with local Contract Standing Orders.
Whether you have a law degree or extensive experience as a solicitor, this could be the role for you. We will support further training for the successful applicant.
