Qualifications

• Proven procurement or supply chain management experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• End-to-end procurement experience, including international sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and working capital impact.
• Analytical and systems capability with ERP/MRP and procurement tools; advanced Excel.
• CIPS qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for UK and international suppliers.
• Manage purchasing and inventory to optimise stock, working capital and service levels.
• Deliver cost savings and manage procurement budgets incl. freight, customs and rebates.
• Drive process improvements including ERP/MRP optimisation and sourcing alternatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide commercial insights.
