Job summary

Starling Bank in London is seeking an ambitious Procurement Lead to manage end-to-end procurement across technology, data and services for the Finance team.

Reporting to Head of Procurement, you will drive cost savings, negotiate contracts and build strong internal partnerships while ensuring regulatory compliance.

This role suits someone early in their career with 1–3 years in procurement and a passion for financial services.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ procurement experience.
• Grad scheme or consulting experience beneficial.
• Financial Services experience preferable.
• Strong academic background.
• Experience across full procurement cycle: sourcing, negotiation and contracting.
• Strong analytical skills; spreadsheet modelling is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity across multiple categories.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers; manage contracts.
• Deliver cost savings through strategic sourcing.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and renewals.
• Build cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with Supplier Risk teams on due diligence.
