Job summary

Magpie Recruitment is seeking a Procurement Manager for an Offshore & Energy EPC project in Woking, Surrey. The role covers tender-stage procurement through delivery, with responsibility for suppliers, subcontractors and equipment packages on an EPC/EPCI project.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is Hybrid: three office days per week, with potential for permanent as workload grows. The salary is up to £75,000 and you will connect engineering requirements with supplier delivery to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Procurement on EPC/EPCI projects is essential.
• Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field welcomed (practical exp accepted).
• Experience in offshore wind, offshore oil and gas or marine projects is useful.

Responsibilities

• Turn engineering requirements into a clear procurement plan.
• Build purchasing schedules around milestones and identify long-lead equipment.
• Negotiate supplier and subcontractor terms and issue purchase orders.
• Manage orders through delivery, expediting and contract performance.
• Support due diligence, onboarding onto the vendor list and post-award activities.
