Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Commercial Manager in Corsham, working four days on-site Mon–Thu, to lead procurement for complex projects in a highly regulated environment.

The role demands strong stakeholder management, tendering, contract drafting and timely delivery within budget. You will mentor staff, manage supplier relationships, and ensure policy compliance. DV clearance and MOD/public sector experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement for complex projects within defined scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and deliver procurement activities at pace.
• DV clearance or eligibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for complex projects, ensuring planning, execution and delivery within scope, budget and time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery.
• Manage key customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
• Provide commercial advice to support project approvals and decisions.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance capability and delivery.
• Prepare, draft and manage contract documents including tenders, evaluations and awards.
