Overview

Morgan Law is currently recruiting for a Procurement Lead to manage a buying team responsible for all sourcing activities not subject to full tender requirements, within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Buying Team, championing continuous improvement and ensuring value adding activity is delivered.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities within existing contracts and driving Service Level Agreement KPIs and internal performance improvement metrics
  • Provide and interpret highly complex information for a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the team operates in compliance with internal policies and wider legislation.
Person Specification
  • CIPS qualification or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience of managing a procurement team
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and processes
  • Experience in negotiation and implementation of purchasing agreements
  • Track record managing broad range of complex activities and delivering process improvements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
