Are you an experienced legal professional with a deep understanding of procurement law and local government operations? Do you want to use your skills to drive meaningful change in a vibrant, diverse community? Islington Council is looking for an experienced Procurement Lawyer (Commercial Contracts) on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our collaborative and forward-thinking legal team.

What you’ll do:
In this pivotal role, you’ll provide expert legal advice on complex commercial and procurement matters, ensuring our services are delivered efficiently, lawfully, and with maximum impact for our residents.

You’ll be:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
  • Advising on public procurement law and regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting service directorates with strategic legal input.
