Salary: £54,793+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you'll be doing:- Reconcile and agree Qatar manpower moves and associated costings in line with manpower contract, including administration of the existing 3 main manpower Purchase Orders.
- Provide topical updates to monthly operations reviews into the Procurement Executive and support Air wide reviews as required.
- Work collaboratively with other functions to deliver agreed objectives of strategic programmes.
- Work with Qatar Project Teams & BSL to look at process improvement opportunities and enhanced governance around all aspects of Procurement activities.
- Work with the UK, Qatar & Turkey Project Teams to scope, explore & bid, price and contract new business requirements, for example Training opportunities.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including bid work, across both Value and Operations procurement functions.
Your skills and experiences:Essential:- Experience in procurement, supply chain or related discipline, with good knowledge of working with Customer community.
- Ability to balance both strategic and tactical considerations in formulating proposals and plans.
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing, costing, and negotiation for local contracting, with expertise in supplier risk and opportunity management. Experienced in developing and delivering robust bid proposals, ensuring competitive and commercially sound outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment.
Desirable:- Working knowledge of the Qatar operational environment, roles required and key stakeholders. Working knowledge of Qatar Training environment, specifically QTI.
- You will have, or be working towards MCIPS or have a similar professional qualification or hold a degree in a business-related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance).

The Manpower - Capability & Insertion Team:The Manpower Team - Capability & Insertion is a newly established team within the Capability Insertion function of the Procurement Service Delivery Unit (SDU), based at Warton and Samlesbury. The team is focused on delivering procurement value and operational excellence across manpower and non-manpower contracts, with a particular emphasis on supporting our Joint Venture, BSL.
As the team expands, it will play a critical role in managing Qatar's in-country manpower requirements, overseeing existing contracts to ensure adherence to contractual milestones and payment terms, and driving new business opportunities to support BSL's portfolio growth in the Middle East and Europe. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the team will contribute to the wider E&I BSL strategy, ensuring efficient procurement processes and successful project delivery.
