Job description

The role:
The role will mainly revolve around managing, preparing and placing energy/water tenders and contracts for ZTP clients. This will involve following ZTP internal processes in a timely and efficient manner. The role will involve regular communication with various energy suppliers and relevant third parties to compile and provide energy tender reports.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Updating records on ZTP Trace/Kiveev systems
  2. Managing own workload to hit client expectations as agreed with Account Manager
  3. Negotiating prices with Suppliers by phone and e-mail
  4. Requesting and providing contracts between suppliers and the management team.
  5. Gathering data, including quotations, from various sources needed to place contracts
  6. Recording accurately contracts placed on Trace
  7. Managing the transfer of supplies between the various suppliers
  8. Resolving Supplier objections
  9. Managing Supplier complaints where disputes arise
  10. Managing and procuring MOP contracts
  11. Appointing DADCs
  12. Managing termination notices.
  13. Creating procurement ITT questionnaires.
  14. Joining team meetings when required.
  15. Speaking with clients, in person or virtually.

Person Specification:
First of foremost, we are seeking someone who is driven and proactive, that comes from the Energy Industry and has experience in a similar role.

Experience Required:

  1. 2+ years of experience in consultancy or similar role focusing on procuring energy/water tenders and contracts.
  2. Must have experience in the energy industry
  3. Must have experience procuring Power/Gas fixed/flexible contracts.
  4. Energy brokerage/consultancy experience is desired
  5. Water procurement experience is an advantage
  6. MOP contracting experience is an advantage

Skills Required:

  1. Attention to detail is extremely important
  2. Strong Communication skills
  3. Excel Experience. Must know VLOOKUPs, Conditional Formatting, and Data Sorting functions as a minimum.
  4. Team player will also be very important in this role but also the ability to work unaided.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  1. A-Levels
  2. GCSE's (English & Maths)
  3. Bachelors Degree would be desired/advantageous

  1. Willingness to accept other duties as assigned.
  2. Ability to travel and to work overtime as needed.
  3. Must be able to work with sensitive and highly confidential information.
