The Company

A leading business in the world of fresh produce, working closely with local and global suppliers to provide products to retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors across the UK.

The Role

The position involves managing a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including:

1. Manage communications between suppliers, buyers, and customers (M&S).
2. Handle customer order forecasts, advise on stock availability, and conduct daily customer stock calls.
3. Plan order demand versus availability, providing daily support for your Buyer.
4. Manage customer portals, purchase orders (POs), price confirmations, and shortages escalations.
5. Work closely with suppliers, maintaining excellent communication at all times.

Your Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience with fresh produce for retail, ideally managing M&S.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and procurement.
• Excellent forecasting and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ideally advanced Excel, strong computer skills, and ERP system experience.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
