Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking a Procurement Director to manage procurement strategies within a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling global suppliers and managing large quantities of SKUs. Experience in leading a purchasing team and proven track record in strategic procurement are essential. This is a newly created role located in the East Midlands, near Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.

Qualifications

• Must have experience of a high number of suppliers, parts, and SKUs.
• Ideally have experience in the aerospace sector.
• Proven track record in scaling agile businesses.

• Procurement Director jobs role ; must have experience of aerospace and very high number of SKUs (fast paced)
• Business works with international aerospace, defence, renewable energy and space customers globally
• Backed by a multinational PLC ; but this is a 125m t/o business which is aero in focus
• Procurement Director jobs role would suit a Purchasing Director, Procurement Director or Supply Chain Director but you MUST have experience of a high number of SKUs (so maybe distribution or the more fast paced end of aerospace)
• Newly created role due to growth
