A multinational recruitment firm is seeking a Procurement Director based in the East Midlands, commutable from Coventry. This newly created role requires strong experience in fast-paced environments, managing numerous suppliers and parts, ideally within aerospace. Candidates should have a track record of moving procurement functions from transactional to strategic.

Overview

• Procurement Director role; must have experience of aerospace and very high number of SKUs (fast paced)
• Business works with international aerospace, defence, renewable energy and space customers globally
• Backed by a multinational PLC; this is a £125m t/o business which is aero in focus
• Procurement Director role would suit a Purchasing Director, Procurement Director or Supply Chain Director but you MUST have experience of a high number of SKUs (so maybe distribution or the more fast paced end of aerospace)
• Newly created role due to growth

• Experienced managing a purchasing team
• This is a newly created role due to growth
• Based in the Midlands - Derby, Nottingham, Leicester region
