This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at a pivotal point in our functions Transformation Journey.

This role as Procurement Development Leader is within the Supply Chain Function team, which provides the wider Supply Chain teams with an essential range of Supply Chain support including Procurement process and systems governance, metrics and training, as well as specialist SME knowledge, and improvement projects.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to learn and shape:

  • Processes and Procedures - Support the development and deployment of global purchasing processes, ensuring that they are fully integrated into the company's operating system(s). Where designated, you will support relevant process councils and audit activities.
  • Purchasing Systems - Ensure data integrity of Purchasing systems, as well as providing assistance to the associated support network(s).
  • Support Networks - Train, coach and support a network of process and system super users in Purchasing processes, including compliance, improvement and management of data integrity.
  • Resource Management - You will support the embedding and the sustainment of a high performance culture within your team(s).
  • Change Management - Where designated, support the development and deployment of major functional change management projects within your business area.
  • Communication - Support the communication and execution of the functional vision, strategy and policies.
  • Reporting - Support and co-ordinate operational reporting and data integrity as per the requirements of the business.
  • Programme management - Ensure projects are appropriately governed and structured to enable effective deployment of workstreams.
  • Stakeholder Management - Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function in order to support functional priorities.
