Job summary

Avendra International - Europe is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team, primarily supporting UK clients and suppliers, with opportunities to assist across our European business. Dutch language skills are highly desirable and French would be an added advantage.

This hands-on role emphasizes price benchmarking, supplier pricing reviews, product comparison and data analysis, largely using Excel to work with supplier data.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Comfortable with Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct price benchmarking and analyse supplier pricing data across food and catering categories.
• Investigate pricing variances, trends and anomalies to identify insights and opportunities.
• Review product and specification comparisons to ensure accurate like-for-like benchmarking.
• Support supplier pricing queries, data validation and quality checks.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to support client reporting, benchmarking and new business implementation.
• Provide analytical support across the UK business and wider European operations when required.
