Job summary

Avendra International - Europe is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team, primarily supporting UK clients and suppliers, with opportunities to assist across our European business. Dutch language skills are highly desirable and French would be an added advantage.

This hands-on role emphasizes price benchmarking, supplier pricing reviews, product comparison and data analysis, largely using Excel to work with supplier data.

Job description

We're looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team, predominantly supporting our UK clients and suppliers, while also providing support across our European business when required.

Dutch language skills are highly desirable for this role. French language skills would be an additional advantage.

This is a hands-on analytical role combining price benchmarking, supplier pricing reviews, product comparison and data analysis.

You'll spend a lot of your time working with Excel and supplier data, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable with spreadsheets, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys investigating what is driving a result rather than simply reporting the numbers.

You don't need to be an advanced Excel expert, but you do need to know your way around a spreadsheet and be comfortable using Excel as part of your everyday work. Previous procurement experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in someone with strong analytical skills, a curious mindset and a desire to build a career in procurement.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, digging into the detail to understand what is driving a result, and asking questions when something doesn't look quite right.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a procurement operations and commercial analysis role. It is not a finance, accounting, software development, Business Intelligence or data science position.

What You’ll Do

Nice to Have

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, commercial support or supplier management
