Procurement Analyst | Global Food Services Organisation

Surrey 1 day per week, the rest remote.

£30,000-£40,000

Overview:

Are you a detail-oriented, data-driven professional with a passion for analytics? A reputable Food Services Brand are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to join their dynamic, globally recognised team. As a key member of their procurement team, you’ll leverage your expertise in data analysis to drive informed decision-making and optimise procurement strategies across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, maintain and seek continuous development of reporting and analysis tools to be used by the regional Procurement Team.
  2. Ensure detailed, accurate and timely KPI’s are delivered to the team to support key strategic decisions.
  3. Ensure data quality from related group systems / processes globally.
  4. Plan and manage small and medium scale projects.
  5. Support the Procurement Team in the development of data management tools. Identify needs, propose processes and operating models. Engage with various IT teams to ensure compliance to group policies and established data management ways of working.
  6. Demonstrate a professional approach that generates credibility, respect and confidence, amongst colleagues and clients.
  7. Prepare presentations and relevant documentation and contribute to key formal documentation.
  8. Connect Supplier performance to Consumer Insights through clear analysis of existing Business Intelligence.
  9. Participate in Group, Centre of Excellence or Group Procurement projects as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required

  1. 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related analytical role.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
  3. Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
