Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is representing a well-established FMCG business in Fife seeking a Procurement & Cost Optimisation Manager on an initial 12-month contract. You will own spend reviews, develop procurement controls, and lead supplier negotiations to deliver tangible savings.

The role is greenfield, offering autonomy to build procurement capability from the ground up and influence how the organisation manages both direct and indirect spend.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in FMCG, manufacturing or similar.
• Experience managing direct and indirect spend.
• Track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review current spend across direct and indirect categories and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and renegotiations with key suppliers and contracts.
• Develop and embed procurement policies, processes and best practices.
