You will source materials, negotiate pricing, monitor supplier performance, and manage stock with production and warehouse teams while ensuring compliance and records accuracy. 37.5hpw, £26,000–£30,000pa.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement experience.
• Manufacturing, Engineering or FMCG background.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience sourcing materials and/or packaging within the UK and internationally.
• Understanding of inventory management and supply chain risk management.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials and packaging from approved suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure pricing and supply.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse to manage stock levels.
• Track purchase orders for timely deliveries and minimised delays.
• Assist in cost analysis and identify savings opportunities.
• Support finance with invoice reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with sales, NPD and quality teams for new product development and approvals.
• Liaise with logistics and warehouse for smooth material handling.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier documentation.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and supplier risks.
• Maintain supplier certifications and agreements.
