Role summary:

As the business sets off on the Advance Innovation strategy to 2025, we shall see significant growth, one of the key areas of the business to ensure that we are set for this growth is our Supply Chain to ensure that we have the right product and the right time for our Customers’ demands.

This role will report in to the Procurement Manager helping to create and maintain the Purchase Orders needed as well as monitor the Inbound products moving around the World.

The role also involves maintaining Material Masters on SAP and helping the Operations and Sales teams with Stock information required by their Customers

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Create Purchase Orders for all products within the Living Environmental Systems (LES) Division to meet the requirements of the external demands via our sales team.
  • Work closely alongside the members of the Procurement team to maintain stock levels and accurate information flows between Departments.
  • Ensure all LES products are created & retired accurately within SAP system.
  • Placing monthly stock orders to LES MELCO factories and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Management of LES daily inbound inventory (air freight & shipping), resolving all duty related queries as and when they arise.
  • Work with other European Branches to maximise stock collaborations- dealing with new orders and queries on existing orders ensuring also intercompany pricing maintained for all parts.
  • Enhance communication & information exchange to all departments regarding product (existing & new), availability, inbound, pricing, shipments.
  • Ensuring all internal and external emails/telephone queries/tasks are responded to and resolved in a timely manner to suit the needs of the business.

Experience:

  • Excellent Communication Skills (both written & verbal).
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Contribution to team goals.
  • Identifying critical tasks, taking ownership to resolve them.
  • Time management – multi tasking skills & the ability to meet set deadlines.
  • Competent user of Microsoft packages like Excel, Word & PowerPoint and preferably some experience using SAP or similar ERP system.
