Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an ICT Procurement Consultant for an initial six-month engagement in Shrewsbury. Hybrid working options. You will lead end-to-end ICT procurement projects, engage stakeholders, and guide commercial and governance decisions to deliver compliant, value-driven outcomes.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK public procurement, experience with eTendering platforms, and MCIPS progression is a plus. Competitive daily rate up to £500 outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end ICT procurement projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK Public Procurement Regulations and best practices.
• Experience in procuring technology, digital, software, infrastructure, or ICT services.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in developing procurement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with ICT, Digital, and Technical teams.
• Proficiency in using eTendering platforms such as Delta, Mercell, or similar systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple procurement projects concurrently.
• Experience in public sector procurement.
• Experience in delivering complex ICT service procurements.
• Knowledge of ICT frameworks, cloud services, software licensing, and digital contracts.
• MCIPS qualification or progress towards MCIPS.
