Procurement Consultants and Senior Procurement Manager Roles

We are seeking Procurement Consultants to join a global, multidisciplinary consultancy within the client’s fast-growing advisory division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background across the procurement lifecycle, including strategy development and tender preparation.

We are looking for candidates in construction, property, transport, rail, water, power, nuclear, MOD/defence sectors, oil & gas, mining, and others.

Hybrid working is available, although the client dictates the working model.

The successful Senior Procurement Manager will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services for key water, power, and renewables clients.

This role involves managing procurement delivery and commercial strategies from inception to contract award, developing tender and contract documentation, and overseeing the tender process through to contract award.

There are opportunities for national and international travel to service and manage key client commissions.

A competitive salary package is offered, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Fulfill responsibilities as a Senior Procurement and Contracts Consultant.
  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement services.
  • Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services division.
  • Contribute to team and business targets.
  • Assist in bid preparation and proposal documentation, supporting the work-winning capability of the division.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong background across the procurement lifecycle, including strategy development and tender preparation.
  • Experience with various contract forms, especially NEC and JCT.
  • Experience providing procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of Public and Utilities Contract Regulations procurement.
  • Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and award.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent. MCIPS qualification is preferred.
