A world-class infrastructure operator is embarking on a significant transformation programme and is looking to grow its commercial team. Due to growth and expansion, multiple opportunities are available for experienced procurement, commercial and quantity surveying professionals to play a key role in delivering a broad range of high value capital and infrastructure projects.

The roles will cover diverse infrastructure portfolios including but not limited to; sustainability, asset management, security, transport infrastructure, and revenue-focused initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategic commercial and procurement strategies that deliver innovation, sustainability and value.
  • Lead post-award contract management on high-profile capital works using NEC contracts (new engineering contracts) and other industry-leading frameworks.
  • Foster long-term, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and commercial value.
  • Influence the commercial landscape - engaging the wider utility and construction markets to craft new commercial models and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee a diverse programme of capital and infrastructure projects, balancing cost, risk and programme success to deliver real business outcomes.

Desired Experience:

  • Proven commercial, procurement or QS background within capital projects, infrastructure or engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with NEC, NEC3, NEC4, or similar standard contracts is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work within complex, multi-stakeholder and matrixed organisations.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills to champion commercial best practice.
