Located within the historic Central Saint Martin's college, just a short walk from Kings Cross Station, this vibrant and modern team environment expects colleagues to work in the office 50% of the time, primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are seeking applications for the Procurement Category Officer position from experienced Procurement/Commercial Officers, Category Managers, and Procurement and Commercial Managers, especially those with experience managing indirect categories and a focus on services.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Procurement Lead, liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, and contribute to elevating the procurement function to a best-in-class standard. You will develop and implement category strategies and foster long-lasting relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.

Your profile and background:

  1. Experience managing end-to-end procurement of corporate services such as IT, recruitment, digital media, legal, coaching, and training.
  2. Practical knowledge of tendering and contracting procedures, including G-Cloud.
  3. Commitment to Continuing Professional Development and procurement best practices.
  4. Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards qualification.
  5. Willingness and ability to assist junior colleagues and others outside the department by advising on procurement, contract specifications, sourcing, tendering, and pricing strategies.
