We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research centre embarking on an exciting growth journey.

The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities Services is a newly created position within a greenfield procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement and the wider team in delivering top-tier procurement activities, developing robust category strategies, and establishing processes across the group.

You will take ownership of the FM category and supplier management for both Hard and Soft services, Laboratory Equipment, and Services. We seek candidates with experience building category strategies from scratch and implementing them across organizations. You will manage a varied and expanding estate.

This role is ideal for someone with an ambitious mindset, capable of working in an agile environment, and excited about supporting the growth and development of a greenfield team with their experience and skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 8 years of procurement experience, with significant focus on Facilities Management sourcing.
• Experience managing procurement for laboratory equipment and related services within an FM context.
• A proven record in leading complex procurement projects and delivering measurable value.
• Familiarity with highly regulated industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research) is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
• MCIPS qualification or active pursuit of full membership highly desirable.
