Salary & Package: £40,000 - £45,000 + 35 days holiday and a strong benefits package

Sea Global is partnering with a leading Higher Education organization seeking a Procurement Category Manager to join their dynamic team. The university has several upcoming projects and is investing heavily in procurement.

The Procurement Director aims to appoint a professional to manage the Estates and FM category. The team is well-established and has projects ready to commence from day one.

This role suits someone with experience in public sector regulations (PCR2015/PA23) and a range of category experiences, eager to develop their procurement career.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier/contract management
• Develop relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across the university, including department heads
• Lead tenders and procurement specifications, including frameworks
• Create and implement strategic category plans

Experience & Requirements

• Proven track record in Indirect categories, particularly Estates and FM (Hard or Soft), or similar
• End-to-end procurement experience is essential
• Knowledge of public procurement regulations (PCR, Procurement Act, OJEU, UCR, etc.)
• CIPS qualification is beneficial but not mandatory
