Job Description

Role Purpose

Entain seeks a Procurement Category Manager for Corporate Services to join our expanding global team. You will oversee major areas of Corporate Services spend, including Legal, Human Resources, Travel, Treasury, Insurance, Corporate Relations, and Consultancy. The primary goal of this role is to optimize third-party expenditure on Corporate Services, developing strategies for short, medium, and long-term value creation aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with the Corporate Services community to understand business strategies.
  2. Develop medium and long-term strategies ensuring commercial tension across all spending areas.
  3. Identify continuous improvement and step-change opportunities through stakeholder and supplier networks.
  4. Identify revenue improvement opportunities.
  5. Promote and embody the team's values within the team.
  6. Report on cost improvements on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation, and cash flow.
  7. Operate agile and effective commercial processes.
  8. Optimize buying channels for transactional procurement efficiency.
  9. Identify global synergies.
  10. Create a global Corporate Services commercial strategy to identify all sources of benefit.
  11. Provide strong commercial leadership on all CS costs.
  12. Develop and conduct RFXs suitable for market activity's size and complexity.
  13. Create and secure buy-in for key supplier management strategies to improve performance.
  14. Develop industry-specific technology solutions understanding.
  15. Become a trusted advisor within the CS community.
  16. Maximize contract compliance and spend under management.
  17. Demonstrate technical and commercial acumen.
Candidate Profile
  • Exceptional commercial experience, including strategy creation, implementation, and benefit delivery.
  • Experience in building Corporate Services strategies.
  • TCO modeling skills to define optimal cost structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized with a proactive attitude.
  • Graduate-level education preferred; Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Post-graduate qualification (e.g., MSc/MBA) or professional qualification such as MCIPS is desirable but not essential.
  • Project Management qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
