A leading insurance firm in the UK is seeking a Category Manager to enhance its Procurement team. This role involves managing procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with FCA/PRA standards, and fostering supplier relationships. Do you have recent procurement experience supporting a broad range of indirect categories? We’re seeking a Category Manager to join our Procurement team on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. You’ll be responsible for managing and implementing the UK and Ireland (UK&I) Procurement strategy within the defined scope, using Category Management Processes in accordance with the team’s RACI matrix.
You’ll work to increase efficiency, ensure compliance with FCA/PRA requirements, reduce costs, and adhere to best practices. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to and develop our business functions, ensuring supplier relationships comply with FCA/PRA standards and business risks are mitigated.

You will work at least 40% of your week away from home, increasing to the majority of your working week from September 2025.
