Newly created role to manage a significant spend of a business-critical category.

If you’re looking at using your knowledge of procurement within the protein industry then this is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected food manufacturing business.

Managing the complex protein category within this multi site operation you’ll work in partnership with individual sites, suppliers and customers to accelerate financial delivery, avoid risk and transform supplier led innovation . Candidates will have a strong understanding and experience of buying raw protein (meat and fish products) and experience of working collaboratively with key stakeholders across a complex business.

Candidates will be CIPs qualified and have significant procurement experience within a food manufacturing environment. A robust, in-depth knowledge of protein is essential.
