An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Business Partner to join a leading UK utilities organisation and take ownership of strategic procurement activity across indirect categories, with a strong focus on IT procurement and potential exposure to FM procurement and wider business services. This role is perfect for an ambitious procurement professional who thrives on building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing at a senior level. Acting as a trusted partner, the successful candidate will help shape sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure procurement delivers real business value.

Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement projects across indirect categories, with a particular focus on IT procurement and FM procurement.
  • Deliver full end-to-end procurement from market analysis, tendering, and supplier evaluation to negotiation and contract management.
  • Develop and implement category strategies that align to corporate objectives and drive procurement excellence.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to embed procurement best practice across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, particularly within regulated/public sector procurement environments.
Qualifications
  • Strong track record in indirect procurement, ideally with experience across IT, FM or corporate categories.
