PROCUREMENT BUSINESS PARTNER

Location: West Midlands / South East

Hours of work: 40 hour per week

Contract Type: Permanent

The Procurement Business Partner will play a key role in supporting a high-profile account across the UK, working closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement excellence.

This role is about more than just cost savings — it's about driving efficiency, improving service quality, and identifying opportunities for innovation and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quickly understand the role and create a clear roadmap for the year ahead and into the future
  • Strong focus on cost control and spend analysis
  • Manage supplier assurance and risk effectively
  • Act as key link between site teams and wider procurement
  • Regularly engage in Teams meetings and client communications
  • Track savings and maintain accurate glide path data

About You

  • Proven experience of working as a Procurement Business Partner / Procurement Manager / Procurement Specialist (or equivalent) with strong P2P and sourcing knowledge
  • Skilled communicator across all stakeholder levels and formats
  • Experienced in supplier relationship and change management
  • Results-focused: Driven to achieve cost savings and make things more efficient.
  • Experience of managing spend- via cost control, glide paths, data analysis, and savings trackers
  • Possess an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and act on cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Confident managing procurement renewals and risk
  • Effective conduit between site and central teams
  • CIPS qualified or working towards (Desirable)
