Job summary

Zero Waste Scotland is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to work with operational teams to deliver procurement activity that supports the circular economy in Scotland. The role focuses on tenders and advancing internal procurement processes to maximise impact and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have experience in end-to-end procurement and be able to support the delivery of the corporate plan through effective tendering and process improvements.

Job description

Our Procurement Business Partner will be motivated by our Vision and our Values to work with our operational teams to deliver the radical change that Zero Waste Scotland intends to deliver.

Reporting to, and working closely with the Procurement and Grants Manager, this role will support the identification, delivery and monitoring of key procurement activity aimed at maximising our organisations impact on the circular economy in Scotland.

We are looking for someone with experience of end to end procurement activity and the ability to help deliver the procurement activity needed to deliver our corprate plan.

This role will be specifically responsible for working with colleagues on the delivery of tenders and other procurement activity, as well as helping to delveop our internal procurement processes to deliver efficient and effective procurement activity.
