Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Buyer I to support daily purchasing activities at our UK site. You will manage supplier communications, create purchase orders, and initiate inventory transfers, contributing to efficient procurement processes.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decision making with cross‑functional teams and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Training in ERP systems and MS Office is encouraged to grow expertise within purchasing and supply chain

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related procurement experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Excellent communication with team members, customers, and suppliers.
• Willingness to learn Power BI and expand ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing tasks: manage supplier communications, create and issue purchase orders, initiate inventory transfers.
• Assist in demand planning using MRP and min/max levels to maintain stock.
• Help manage MRO and indirect spending for the local site.
• Assist with purchasing various third‑party product categories and equipment.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure on‑time delivery and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with Logistics to meet regional and global deliveries.
• Identify areas for process improvement within purchasing and supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements in purchasing.
