Microlise in Nottingham is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team. You’ll learn to process purchase requisitions and orders, assist supplier onboarding, and help with contract reviews while gaining hands-on experience.
This apprenticeship path through CIPS offers training and development, with a friendly team and clear progression as you build practical procurement skills and contribute to cost-effective sourcing.
Are you organised, detail-oriented and interested in building a career in procurement? Join our friendly and supportive Procurement team as a Procurement Assistant, where you'll gain hands-on experience, receive professional training and develop the skills needed for a successful long-term career.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll learn how to process purchase requests and orders, support supplier onboarding, coordinate contracts and produce reports, while helping the business secure the goods and services it needs in a timely and cost-effective way.
As part of the role, you'll complete a recognised CIPS procurement apprenticeship through an established training provider. We welcome applicants with a variety of qualifications and experience levels, and the most suitable programme will be agreed with you after joining. Depending on your previous learning and experience, this may be a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
