Job summary

Citizen Housing Group is seeking a Procurement Apprentice to learn how contracts improve homes, services and customer safety. You will work with teams across departments to plan and coordinate contracts for essential works, goods and services.

You will learn from experienced procurement professionals and gain practical skills while pursuing a CIPS Level 3 or 4 apprenticeship, depending on your experience. The role offers hybrid working with office presence two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Understand needs across Citizen to turn into procurement plans.
• Lead and coordinate projects for works, goods and services.
• Build relationships with departments, customers and suppliers.
• Use cost, market and supply-chain information to inform decisions.
• Ensure tenders meet UK procurement rules and Citizen policies.
• Track social value and report on governance metrics.
• Maintain procurement portals and guidance with accuracy.
