Rivan Industries in London seeks an elite supply chain manager to own the end-to-end procurement and supply chain for manufacturing our first 50 x 1MW synthetic fuel systems. You will collaborate with engineering to spec components, source materials, and manage BOM costs to hit targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional supply chain experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end supply chain for manufacturing our systems.
• Procurement of raw materials and components; work with engineering to spec items and achieve BOM targets.
• Strategic sourcing of key materials and components for resilience and cost control.
• Create and manage supplier base; streamline ordering and contracts; monitor supplier performance and risk.
• Lead supplier due diligence, compliance and risk management.
• Coordinate with finance to report BOM KPIs and align with production plans.

Job description

Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, whilst vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We are graduating from R&D to large scale manufacturing - starting at our new 60,000 sq ft factory in central London.

We are looking for an elite supply chain manager to build and own our procurement and supply chain functions, creating the end-to-end structures and partnerships required for us to manufacture our first 50, 1MW, synthetic fuel systems.

Role:

Own the end-to-end supply chain for manufacturing our systems

Procurement of Raw material & component procurement. Including:

• Working closely with the engineering team to spec components, systems or materials to achieve BOM cost targets.
• Strategic sourcing of key raw materials & components, ensuring supply chain resilience and optimisation
• Competitive bid sourcing, tendering and contracting
• Creating a supplier base and streamlining the ordering process
• Accountability for supplier performance and delivery
• Responsible for supplier due diligence, compliance and risk

Cost & speed optimisation

• Close collaboration with Finance to report progress against BOM KPIs

Demand planning & Storage

• Aligning manufacturing with financing, permitting and deployment
