As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering procurement and supply chain solutions across operational contracts, strategic projects and business bids. Supporting programmes that provide training and training support services to the Armed Forces and emergency services, you'll help ensure customers have the equipment, services and specialist capabilities they need to be mission-ready when it matters.
This is a varied and influential position where you'll work closely with operational leaders, suppliers and stakeholders to drive value, improve performance and develop innovative procurement strategies across a diverse portfolio of goods and services.
Day-to-day, you will be:
This role is based remotely, with regular travel to London Fire Brigade sites in London approximately twice per month. Occasional travel to other Babcock and customer sites will also be required, with travel and subsistence expenses covered in line with company policy.
CIPS qualification or working towards CIPS is desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
