We have an excellent opportunity available for a Procurement and Contracts Support Officer to join our Procurement and Contracts Team here at Wokingham Borough Council. The role is on a full-time basis, on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
As the Procurement and Contracts Support Officer, you will support the procurement and contract activities across the organisation. This is a key role that ensures effective provision of professional services that meet customer needs.
This role will contribute to the delivery, performance, quality control and the compliance for specialist areas, whilst working collaboratively with key stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues across the organisation.
Working with the Commercial Contracts Specialist and Procurement Manager to deliver best value for money to our community through effective procurement and contract management process and procedures.

This is a car user post, and you will require a car to carry out some of your duties in the post. Your car must therefore be insured for business use.
Please note that this is a fixed-term maternity cover post for up to one year. The contract may end earlier if the postholder returns before the end of that period.
