Job summary

Nationwide Building Society is seeking a Procurement MI & Insights Manager to deliver timely, accurate analytics using the Data Lake and BI tools. You’ll develop dashboards and insights that empower the procurement team to make informed decisions and manage risk.

You will lead the development of advanced analytics, including predictive modelling and AI-driven insights, while establishing data governance and collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable outputs.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical Power BI capability with insight-ready dashboards and complex data models.
• Experience leading reporting or analytics work streams from concept to delivery for senior decisions.
• Knowledge of procurement lifecycle reporting across Sourcing, Contracting, Payment and Risk.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Understanding data quality, lineage, ownership, and compliance for trusted reporting.
• Proficiency with modern data platforms and visualization tools plus strong analytics.
• Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ambition to progress into senior leadership with proactive learning.
• Awareness of AI and emerging technologies in analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Collibra or Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of procurement MI and insights using the Nationwide Data Lake and BI tools.
• Produce dashboards, reports and analytics to enable informed decision-making.
• Develop advanced analytics techniques including predictive modelling and AI-driven insights.
• Implement data governance frameworks ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable insights.
