As the Procurement Analyst you will support the Category & Sourcing Lead and Managers, assisting Santander UK and other group entities that Santander UK provide service to in achieving its cost to income targets. This role contributes to enabling the Procurement team to be the first point of call for professional advisory support to achieve optimum outcomes for the bank. It involves maintaining and analysing MI and data required for day-to-day management of category, sourcing and supplier management, and identifying opportunities to enhance value for the business.
As a Procurement Analyst you’ll play a key part in the continual evolvement of Cost Management and Procurement, driving us towards Even Better Cost Management and Procurement. You will provide cross‑business and category analysis to help identify opportunities to improve sourcing outcomes from ideation to execution. You will act as an expert reference point for the bank’s cost management process and the external market, and ensure that the quality, compliance and cost‑effectiveness of the work delivered by our suppliers meets Santander expectations.
Our preferred location for this role is Unity Place; we will also consider applications from Bradford and Glasgow.
