Job Description

Role Purpose

Responsible for researching, providing, and analyzing data to inform Category Sourcing Strategies and procurement arrangements, including spend data, market data, supplier and supply chain data, product data, service data, and trends.

Job Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and provide comprehensive data on site spend and procurement activity.
• Develop automation of data production to enhance decision-making and sourcing strategy processes.
• Collate, manipulate, analyze, and report data from various sources, including spend, supplier, market, economic, carbon reduction, and geographical data.
• Design, develop, and produce reports and dashboards to present information such as spend analysis, geographic risks, opportunities, and contract health.
• Assist with supplier engagement and gather market and economic data to identify trends, exceptions, and key messages.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets, manipulate large data sets, extract and export data, and produce reports using charts, tables, and dashboards.

Person Specification

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, databases, and MS Office Suite.
• Problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
• Ability to plan work and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• SAP experience and knowledge of Category Management and Project Management.
• Stakeholder Management skills.
