Job Description:

Role Purpose

Responsible for researching, providing, and analyzing data to inform Category Sourcing Strategies and tactical procurement arrangements, including spend data, market data, supplier and supply chain data, product data, service data, and trends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze site spend and procurement activity data.
  • Automate data production to improve decision-making and sourcing strategies.
  • Collate, manipulate, analyze, and report data from various sources, including spend, supplier, market, economic, carbon reduction, and geographical data.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards for spend analysis, geographic risk, opportunity, and contract health.
  • Assist with supplier engagement and gather market and economic data to identify trends and key insights.
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, manipulate large data sets, and produce reports with charts, tables, and dashboards.

Person Specification

  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
  • Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, databases, and MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of Category Management and Project Management.
