Procurement Advisor - Public Sector | £37,000 | Hybrid | Lisburn

Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the public sector? We're seeking a Procurement Advisor to join a dynamic finance team in Lisburn, supporting the delivery of essential services to the community.

The Role: As a key member of the procurement function, you'll provide expert advice and hands-on support across the full procurement lifecycle. From managing tenders and contracts to ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation, your work will help drive value for money and service excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Support procurement and contract management activities across a large, complex organisation.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on procurement strategy, legislation, and best practices.
  • Liaise with Centres of Procurement Expertise (CoPEs) and external suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead contract review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, data protection, and audit requirements.


What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and frameworks.
  • Experience in a procurement role within a large organisation (100+ staff, £10m+ budget).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and IT skills.
  • A relevant qualification (HNC or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience, or 4+ years' experience without a qualification.
