Job description

Flexsource NI are currently recruiting a Procurement Advisor on a temporary full time basis covering the Lisburn area with a starting salary of £19.59 per hour

Responsibilities:

With a full job description available upon request, you will:

·Assist in the delivery of efficient procurement and contract management services, ensuring compliance with public procurement policy and value-for-money principles

·Oversee supplier performance, lead contract review meetings, manage complaints, and ensure accurate contract data reporting

·Provide advice on procurement legislation, strategy, and best practices; ensure compliance with governance, legal, and policy frameworks

·Analyse procurement spend data, contribute to performance monitoring, and provide accurate reports to internal and external stakeholders

·Maintain procurement records, handle sensitive data in line with GDPR, and support audit and Freedom of Information responses

·Deliver procurement training, support internal teams with contract queries, and maintain effective working relationships across departments

·Deputise for the Procurement Manager as needed, contribute to team training and development, and assist with project work and system upgrades

Requirements:

·A minimum HNC level qualification in a relevant subject

·2-4 years experience working in a procurement environment for a large complex organisation

·Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car for business use
