A leading UK Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a part-time Procurement Administrator to assist in procurement processes and maintain financial documentation. This role requires a commitment to high ethical standards and inclusivity while contributing to effective service delivery. Located in North East England, the successful candidate will support department managers to achieve excellent community service.
Procurement Administrator – (Part time, 3 days per week – Job Share)
£25,992 to £27,269 per annum (Pro rata, pay award pending) + benefits
We are seeking to fill an upcoming vacancy for the role of Procurement Administrator.
Under the guidance of the Senior Procurement Advisor and Procurement Services Manager, you will support and deliver duties within the Procurement/Finance function, contributing to excellent service provision and effective resource use. You will support department managers in delivering exceptional services to our community and key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusivity, fairness, dignity, and uphold high standards of ethical behaviour, championing these principles daily in compliance with our ethical code of conduct.

The team includes a Procurement Services Manager, Senior Procurement Advisor, Procurement Advisor, and a Procurement Administrator. We collaborate across all departments to manage goods and services, organize disposal of obsolete goods, identify spend, and ensure legal compliance and value for money.
