What you’ll be doing:
- Drive the smooth flow of purchasing activity from request through to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality procurement, supplier and contract records that support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate technology purchasing requests and help deliver a positive experience for internal stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on purchasing and travel processes, improving compliance and reducing delays.
- Monitor renewals, exceptions and outstanding actions to minimise operational risk.
- Produce meaningful reporting and insights that help track spend and supplier activity.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve service delivery.
- Ensure purchasing and travel activity aligns with company policies and governance requirements.
- Recognise and escape risks, issues or non-compliant activity where appropriate.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, finance administration or a similar business support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confidence working with business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to analyse information, solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Experience producing reports or working with operational data.
- Knowledge of procurement, travel or supplier administration processes would be advantageous.
