Job Description:

Procurement Administrator – Middlesex (TW6) – 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract – £30,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established M&E company based in Middlesex. CBW is currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support the onsite procurement function. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the Procurement team and wider business by handling a variety of administrative tasks. This position is offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract, so applicants must be available to commit for the full duration.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00

  • Hybrid: 4 days in the office / 1 day remote

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process all new supplier onboarding requests, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

  • Validate and upload required documentation via the Procurement system.

  • Support stakeholders with raising purchase orders and ensuring correct processes are followed.

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy when inputting data and managing multiple requests under time constraints.

  • Monitor and manage the Procurement inbox daily, addressing queries and assigning tasks to relevant team members.

  • Assist the Procurement Manager in maintaining audit-ready documentation and meeting compliance standards.

  • Promote the use of the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and maintain up-to-date contract and supplier records.

  • Perform supplier spend analysis and reporting as needed.

  • Coordinate with accreditation partners to provide necessary supplier information.

  • Ensure suppliers meet onboarding and compliance requirements in line with business expectations.

  • Identify and report potential issues that could impact service or product delivery.

  • Contribute to procurement-related projects and initiatives, ensuring supply chain resilience and accessibility.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an administrator, ideally within a procurement function.

  • Background in FM, M&E, or construction industries is highly desirable but not essential.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.

  • Confident in data analysis, reporting, and managing multiple priorities independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Office 365.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Able to manage supplier-related projects from start to finish.

  • Must be immediately available or able to start within one week and committed to a fixed-term contract.

If you're a proactive and dependable administrator with a background in procurement and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you!
