Job summary

CKB Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Processing Technician / Technical Services Administrator in London, hybrid from home three days a week and in the office two days. The role focuses on back-office insurance tasks, producing slips, processing premiums, LPANs, and submitting via Xchanging.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of insurance back-office experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to queries and deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least one year of back-office insurance experience with the ability to produce slips, use PPL and handle Xchanging.
• Experience processing premiums from slips and creating LPANs for submission via Xchanging.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised workload.
• Confident written and verbal business communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive in resolving queries and meeting deadlines.
• Desire to develop technical insurance knowledge; Lloyd's market familiarity is a plus.

We are actively seeking an experienced Technical Services Administrator who can produce slips, use PPL and deal with Xchanging.

CKB Recruitment is working with a growing business that places UK and international risks into Lloyd s of London, with a particular focus on helping start-up organisations plan and establish their insurance arrangements.

Providing Lloyd s broking, back-office processing, regulatory consulting and ongoing compliance support, this specialist business offers a varied environment in which to build your technical knowledge.

The opportunity

You ll work closely with the Head of Technical Services, helping manage the flow of business through the IMR and providing a high-quality support service to clients, markets and third-party organisations.

Your work will help ensure business is processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures and external requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing slips and supporting technical documentation.
• Processing insurance premiums from slips.

What we re looking for

You ll need at least one year s back-office insurance experience, together with the practical ability to produce slips, use PPL and deal with Xchanging.

You should also have experience processing premiums from slips, creating LPANs and submitting them through Xchanging.

Alongside this, you ll bring:

• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to your workload.
• Confident written and verbal business communication skills.
• The ability to build relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• An proactive approach to resolving queries and meeting deadlines.
• An enthusiasm for developing your technical insurance knowledge.

Knowledge of the Lloyd s market and IMR would be advantageous, as would familiarity with CLASS, ATLAS, ECF, LORS and DCOM.
