Job summary

Dovecote Park Ltd in Pontefract, WF8, is seeking a Processing Operative to join a busy meat-processing team. You will stack meat products on pallets, keep items separated, and ensure temperature controls and safety procedures are observed.

The role is permanent and full-time with early shifts Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates are reliable, willing to work in a physically demanding environment, and able to work well alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Stack down meat products onto own pallets.
• Ensure that each product is kept separate.
• Transfer meat products in a way that maintains the temperature of the product within food safety and company limits.
• Stock meat products in the correct location allocated for each product.
• Work to a high standard to efficiently complete all duties to minimise waste and downtime to maximise yields
• Operation of machinery
• Manual handling

Pay Rate:£13.01 per hour

Location:Pontefract, WF8 3DD
Shift Available:Monday to Friday 05:45am to 14:45pm

Role:

• Stack down meat products onto own pallets.
• Ensure that each product is kept separate.
• Transfer meat products in a way that maintains the temperature of the product within food safety and company limits. Checking that the route to storage is clear and safe, following company procedures to deal with any problems.
• Stock meat products in the correct location allocated for each product.
• Work to a high standard to efficiently complete all duties to minimise waste and downtime to maximise yields
• Operation of machinery
• Manual handling
